Stress Less & Children's Mental Focus Patches. What was only about a couple of minutes of homework would turn into hours of battling & over stimulation. We've had so much improvement that I got a call last week making an amendment to her IEP to take state testing in small group instead of one on one. BTW I used to get sweaty palms over anything to do with IEP.Hannah's Momhttp://www.internapure.com/Blog/2009/07/09/aura-patch-autism-protocol/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8032550411020621277.post-64332323524452660672009-12-02T18:48:45.224-08:002009-12-02T18:48:45.224-08:00Corey,

Corey,
My suggestion is call the meeting with everyone that works with your child and go prepared. Write out the points you want to cover. If it helps even write down what you can say in case you get stuck. Go stick it to em, Corey.
Oh, and that was far from my first IEP meeting it was just the first one I ran/chaired. The other ones the teacher(s) were more in control. I dont blame you for running out of the IEP meeting crying Corey, those teachers can be intimidating at times .
Hi Maddy,
Glad you found me!
Hi mama on the edge,
Glad to see you here tooFighting for my Childrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01280666894954514169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8032550411020621277.post-11097768368754392932009-12-02T18:12:51.940-08:002009-12-02T18:12:51.940-08:00I still write in blogspot and then copy and paste ...I still write in blogspot and then copy and paste across to wordpress.......what can I say, I'm bloggingly challenged!Maddyhttp://sandwichedgenes.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8032550411020621277.post-19387489366885362142009-12-02T17:48:14.204-08:002009-12-02T17:48:14.204-08:001) GLAD you are blogging. I just don't know the acronym.
3) AWESOME job at the IEP meeting. My first one, I ran out of the room sobbing, halfway through. Embarrassing, and hard to recover from.
4) I need to call my child's school. Tomorrow. Because I *know* they are not following her IEP and they are GROSSLY inflating her grades and I would SO much rather poke my eyes out with a stick than deal with it. But I *will* do it, just because YOU were so brave. Damn it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8032550411020621277.post-72067296757457086392009-12-02T11:38:47.503-08:002009-12-02T11:38:47.503-08:00Welcome to blogspot land!Welcome to blogspot land!mama edgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16434016248126809607noreply@blogger.com
